Making Progress! Spring has sprung! Things are starting to grow, including our MUG membership! Since our Fall Meeting seven companies have inquired about MUG or requested membership. Most of the inquires are due to ePS promoting our organization. I’d ask each of you to share the benefits of MUG as you network with other printers through various trade groups. The Enhancement Committee is hard at work preparing the first round of priorities for job management. The list is due to ePS by next week. Some subcommittees have not met yet as ePS asked us to prioritize job management for the Suite 10.1 fall release. He gives a quick overview of the Suite as a whole and then reviews upcoming changes and improvements to the Suite coming in 2022.

Stephanie Groth from EFI joins us for the September MUG webinar. This month's focus is on configuring and maintaining access to Monarch. Stephanie shows us the distinction between Monarch Users and Employees and how both are used both within Foundation and also in other integrated parts of Monarch. She also explains the different preset user types and how they should be used. In addition, she shows how User Groups can be used to give access to different users en masse. Stephanie then goes over the best ways to configure Program Security to give both Users and User Groups access to the various parts of the Foundation application.
Rick Krahulec from EFI joins us for the August MUG webinar. This month's focus is on the Monarch Purchasing setup and workflow. Rick reviews the way to configure Items to prepare them for the Purchasing workflow, as well as how to do Purchase Requisitions and how to pull those into Purchase Orders. He also goes over how to receive those ordered Items when they arrive at the plant. Item forecasting, purchase order outlook, and ways to create reserves or Requisitions from an Estimate are covered as well.
